I wanted to write about inequality, but there is nothing to write about. There are tall and short, there are thin and fat. But one cannot say that some are better and some are worse. They are just different. Likewise, the smart and the stupid really exist. Likewise, there are men and women. In the same way, races really exist. But in no case should these differences be used to assert superiority. All people are equal in their dignity, but all people are different from each other. Therefore, there is nothing to talk about. All people are different, but all people are needed. It is the differences that lead to the fact that people with different experiences and different abilities complement each other. This is what our common human civilization is based on. And this is one of the sources of development.

But it is interesting to talk about the use of differences in governance.

Divide and rule.

It doesn’t matter who this quote actually belongs to. But the principle of separation itself has been used throughout the foreseeable history, and is also actively used in our days.

How easy and natural it is for our psyche to blame someone else for all our problems. We are able to do this from a very early age. But life experience also does not add much wisdom to us in this matter. We can easily get angry with anyone the propaganda points out to us. For this it is enough that we are really worried about the problem in which someone is accused.

This principle is used not only in foreign policy. Thanks to another feature of our psyche, this principle is widely used in domestic politics. Not to mention the fact that this principle is also often applied in interpersonal communication. One of the features of our psyche is that we see “flaws” in others. At the same time, we are convinced that this is precisely a drawback. We ourselves are certainly right. In the event that, according to other important characteristics for us, we do not distinguish such people from ourselves. Then we try to fix such people. It is easy to convince us that such shortcomings can be corrected even by force. The worst thing is that it is easy to convince us that those who do not agree to be “corrected” can and must be eliminated. Any way. How propaganda loves it! We easily believe that they are preventing us from creating an ideal unified society. We can easily agree to the deprivation of all rights and freedoms for dissent.

But how can we blame politicians when we behave the same way? There are people who are ready to destroy the family happiness of their “friends” just because of the feeling of their inferiority. And if not only you are unhappy, but also your friend, then everything is in order. It can be considered that such is the world. That we ourselves are good and that we do not need to change. No effort at all. And, the sweetest thing is that we can gain power over a “friend”. So why is politics worse? They push social groups and other states against each other. We provoke conflicts between individuals. And the consequences for these people may not be less tragic.

Politicians are the same people, only with great opportunities. If we value the rights and freedoms of other people, this will manifest itself at all levels. If we respect others, then we should give them even the right to make mistakes.

Respect others and then they will respect you. Do not try to forcefully restrain someone. Everyone has their own path in life, and help should be offered, not imposed.
