Hatred
I would like to reveal one very difficult topic. I tell you in advance that I don’t want to offend anyone. I just want to better understand the question of where the hatred of the arc comes from.
Since my school years, I have constantly heard that my nation is the best of all. My language is the best of all. That we are exceptional. Of course, this is a very good breeding ground for patriotism. But then really terrible things begin. If we are the best of all, then who are the others? And of course the propaganda skillfully uses this to look for the shortcomings of other nations.
The propaganda constantly ridicules the perceived and real shortcomings. And if the current situation requires it, these shortcomings will be invented. Propaganda instills fear of others in us.
In Christianity, pride is one of the deadly sins.
But even if you do not take into account religion. Please tell me honestly. Is it pleasant for you to communicate with an arrogant egoist?
But a great misfortune happens when entire nations fall ill with pride. This process is usually gradual. And it has a cumulative effect. At first, everything is quite well, and does not appear outwardly. Everything is calm until it is used by someone for their own purposes. It’s like a bomb. Until the detonator goes off, it cannot do much harm. But one has only to set fire to the charge and everything around will be destroyed. History knows many similar examples. Both in antiquity and in recent history.
There is always a contrast between “we” and “they”. Human, as a biological species, was created as a rather peaceful creature. It has no natural armor, it has no claws, no fangs, no horns. From the point of view of nature, a human cannot kill another human. Notice how small children fight among themselves. It’s a pretty safe mess. And although there may be a winner and a loser, there are no injuries. In addition, children do not seek to hurt each other. A peaceful natural entity will only be satisfied with the demonstration of its strength.
But everything changes when the mind turns on. The mind washes away. Indicates that there are weak points on the opponent’s body. Suggests that you can make your fist heavier, lengthen your arm. Suggests that you can defeat the enemy from afar. But a person is not yet ready to cripple another, not ready to kill. Nature has not put such a program into the human brain. Of course, the brain is very plastic, and the behavior program can be changed. But propaganda is subtler. Over the long centuries of war, an effective way has been found. Propaganda convinces the brain that your opponent is not human. In the ancient primitive nations, this postulate was read out directly. But propaganda is evolving. Propaganda initially says that they are not what they should be, that something is wrong with them, that they are wrong. Alertness arises. The propaganda continues and a label is hung on the enemy, which is not associated in the human brain with his own biological species. The division has taken place. We and they. We are against them. It is written in the brain: “we are human, we are the best.” It is written in the brain: “They are enemies, they want us evil, they do not belong to our biological species, they are just … (propaganda label)”. Now the brain of the peaceful social animal is becomes ready for anything, even murder. And this is very sad.
It’s getting scary already. Isn’t that so? But the reality is even worse. The human brain is plastic. Having registered in the brain a exploitation program of others. Having registered in the brain a violence programs of others. Having registered in the brain a program that allows to kill others.
Propaganda opens Pandora’s box. Now the human brain can easily switch to a program of exploitation, a program of violence and a program of murder in relation to their neighbors. In relation to their surroundings. In relation to those who do not agree with the propagandized dogmas.
But what about the mind? The mind is just a tool. The mind can create. The mind can destroy. Everything is determined by the task that the mind solves.
Keep your mind clean. I suppose you don’t want to be an instrument in the wrong hands.
